Fashion-Trip nach London zur Weihnachtszeit.
Wie klingt das für Euch? Für mich ist das pure Musik in meinen Ohren. Denn zum einen bin ich – sagen wir mal – „ziemlich modeaffin“, zum anderen liebe ich London und bin auch noch ein großer Weihnachtsfan. Daher habe ich nicht lange überlegt, als ich eine Einladung von
Primark zur Präsentation der neuen F/S-Kollektion 2015 nach London erhielt. So startete ich gemeinsam mit Julia (
Chic Choolee) letzte Woche Mittwoch vormittag in eine meiner absoluten Lieblingsstädte. Nachdem wir im unglaublich luxuriösen & absolut empfehlenswerten
Hotel Café Royal in der Regent Street beim Picadilly Circus eingecheckt haben, spazierten wir drei Stunden lang durch die Einkaufsstraßen Londons und haben uns vom Weihnachtsflair der Stadt beeindrucken lassen. Den Tag haben wir bei einem tollen Abendessen und einigen Cocktails in einem der besten Steakrestaurants (
Hawksmoor) der Stadt ausklingen lassen. Na ja, das stimmt nicht ganz. Der Abend dauerte für Julia und mich noch ein wenig länger, da wir dem gay & dragqueen club
Shadow Lounge in Soho noch einen Besuch abstatteten 🙂 …
Nach einer kurzen Nacht in einem wunderbaren, total ruhigen und 100 % abgedunkelten Zimmer (nach meiner Erfahrung eine Seltenheit) und einem gesunden Frühstück ging’s für Blogger und Journalisten aus ganz Europa in die University of Westminster zur Kollektionspräsentation. Und ich muss sagen: Ich war absolut positiv überrascht! Ein Großteil der Kollektion hat mich sowohl von den Schnitten, als auch den Designs und Materialien überzeugt. Wie ihr vielleicht wisst, sind zwei meiner Lieblings-Mäntel von Primark – siehe

hier. Und diese von mir geliebte Schlichtheit setzt sich im nächsten Jahr bei Primark fort. Neben tollen & schlichten Mänteln, Blazern und Culottes finden sich viele zarte Pastellmuster und Blumenprints. Ich muss sagen, dass ich mich wirklich auf diese Kollektion freue und hoffe, einiges davon in Österreich zu finden. Bevor ich Euch aber Teile der neuen Kollektion zeige, gibt es die nächste Zeit ein paar Sachen aus der aktuellen Kollektion, mit der wir uns am Donnerstag Nachmittag vor unserer Rückreise ordentlich eingedeckt haben 🙂 … Danke an Primark für diesen tollen Trip!

Fashion trip to London during Christmas time.
How does it sounds for you? For me that’s music to my ears. Cause on the one hand I’m quite – let’s say – „fashion conscious“ , on the other hand I’m totally in love with London and Christmas season. Therefore I didn’t need much time to make my decision after receiving an invitation from Primark for their presentation of S/S collection in London. So Julia (Chic Choolee) and I started last Wednesday morning in one of my favorite Euorpean cities. After checking in at amazing luxurious & recommendable Hotel Café Royal at Regent Street / Picadilly Circus, we’ve made a stroll through famous shopping streets and places and have been impressed by London’s incomparable Christmas flair. We’ve round off our day with a lovely dinner and a few cocktails at one of the best steak restaurants in town (Hawksmoor). Well, this is not completely true. For Julia and me this evening lasted a bit longer, cause we’ve visited gay & drag queen club Shadow Lounge in Soho 🙂 …
After a short night in a wonderful, totally quiet and completely darkened hotel room (a rarity in my experience) and a healthy breakfast several European bloggers and journalists were on their way to University of Westminster, where the presentation tooks place. And I must say: I was absolutely positively surprised! Most of the collection or rather the designs and materials conviced me! As you probably know, two of my favorite coats are from Primark – see here and here. And this pure simplicity is continuing next year. Amazing & simple coats, blazers and culottes are part of the new collection as well as soft pastel colors and floral prints. I really have to say, that I’m looking forward to this collection and hopefully we will find some of this pieces in Austria! But before I’m able to show you this new collection, I’m presenting some pieces of current Primark collection in the next time on my blog, which I’ve brought with me from Primark store at Oxford Street 🙂 … – So, thank you so much Primark for this amazing trip!
