Classy or old school?

Oder ist man heutzutage absolut „out“, wenn man ein Kostüm oder einen Hosenanzug trägt?  Ich habe Euch bereits hier und hier erzählt, dass sich mein Stil in den letzten 15 Jahre sehr gewandelt hat. Während ich früher (typisch 90er) brave Kostüme und Hosenanzüge mit Blusen getragen habe, bin ich heute wesentlich „relaxter“ unterwegs. Trotzdem „überkommt“ mich zwischendurch die Lust auf Kostüme. Aber wenn ich mal ein Kostüm trage, dann völlig anders wie früher: Mit einem besonderen Schnitt (Blazer zum Beispiel ohne Knöpfe), atypisches Material (zB Leder), lässigen (cropped) Top statt Bluse, Statement Schmuck und in auffälligen Farben (gerne auch im Mustermix) oder monochrom. – Wie geht es Euch mit Kostümen und Hosenanzügen? Habt ihr sie früher getragen? Und wie schaut es jetzt damit aus? Und was sagt ihr zu meinem heutigen Look, mit dem ich meine dieswöchige „skirt collection“ eröffne?

Or is it nowadays old-fashioned to wear a costume or pantsuit? As I’ve told you here and here, my style has changed considerably over the last 15 years. Whilst in the past (typically nineties) I’ve worn serious (pant)suits with blouses, nowadays my wardrobe is quite more „relaxed“. But nevertheless sometimes I want to wear a classy suit. But if I’m wearing one, it looks totally different compared to the nineties: A special cut (e. g. blazer without knobs), atypical material (e. g. leather), cool (cropped) top instead of blouse, statement jewelry and bright colors (also mixed patterns) or monochrome. – What do you think about (pant)suits?
